Onwards to part two! Some snippets from our last two days in Singapore. It's really such a shame we weren't able to go around other parts of Singapore, especially Clarke Quay and Little India. Next time, I promise!

Adventure # 3 - Singapore May 2013 Part One

Singapore has, and always will be my favorite country to go to. Despite its hot, humid climate, this little slice of land is just my cup of tea. Design, culture and food— What more could you ask for?

This trip, we were off to visit another friend studying for his Masters Degree at SMU. We spent the first day wandering the streets of Chinatown and Bugis while we had a full day at Universal Studios on our second. Part Two of this post will feature days three and four.

Adventure # 2 - All Soul's Day Photo Blog

There's something about the Chinese-Filipino tradition fills me with urge to capture it. Since my grandmother's passing, we seem to celebrate those special dates less and less and I feel a resonating sense of yearning to grasp at those memories and somewhat bring it back.

The following are photos from last year's trip to the temple for All Soul's Day.

Adventure # 1 - Hong Kong November 2013

It was a spur-of-the-moment, let's-go-to-somewhere kind of a thing when we decided to purchase our plane tickets for Hong Kong. It was a country I've been to twice, prior to this trip— Once, when I was four, where I went with my parents, and the next with a large group of college friends back in 2010. We were 10 in the group and it was so much chaotic and fun!

This time around, the four of us packed our bags to go visit a friend, who's currently studying in SCAD HK. This trip was filled with amazing experiences, including a highly exciting (but scary), non-documented trip to the hospital.

I would really love one of these things displayed in my kitchen.

This was an amazing experience—We were first in line to Ocean Park that day and the four of us mad-rushed to the Thrill Mountain to get our butts on Hair Raiser— Ocean Park's floorless rollercoaster suspended above the South China Sea. This was us in a practically empty ride, with zero expectations having never seen it in action before. We rode it twice.
